Work Environment

Located within a vibrant community in New Rochelle, our rehabilitation facility offers a supportive and collegial work atmosphere. Our onsite setting allows Physical Therapists to engage directly with patients through hands-on practice, ensuring effective recovery management. The daily schedule, from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promotes a healthy work-life balance, providing ample time for professional development and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for new patients, developing personalized treatment plans based on individual goals and needs.
• Implement varied therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance healing and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery processes and exercises, ensuring understanding and engagement in their treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Occupational and Speech Therapists to create integrated care plans that address all aspects of a patient's recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with all regulatory standards and clinic guidelines.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to modify treatment approaches as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, elderly patients dealing with age-related mobility challenges, and individuals rehabilitating from surgeries or chronic conditions. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at BodySync PT, you will have the unique opportunity to develop relationships with patients from various backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• A current Physical Therapy license in the state of New York.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting preferred, although new graduates passionate about orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy and functional movement assessments is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and multi-disciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using physical therapy modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Previous experience in a collaborative clinical setting is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a robust benefits package.
