Position Overview

BodySync PT is excited to announce an opening for an Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) who will play a vital role in our home care services in Mount Vernon, New York. As an onsite PT, you'll have the opportunity to provide essential rehabilitation services directly to our patients in their homes, helping them recover and regain their mobility in a comfortable setting. We are looking for a dedicated professional with at least two years of experience in the field who is passionate about patient care, education, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to achieve a balanced work-life dynamic. As part of our home care team, you will be visiting patients in their residences, ensuring personalized and compassionate care. You will have access to the latest therapeutic equipment and technology to enhance patient recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities aimed at relieving pain and restoring function.

• Monitor, document, and report on patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment protocols based on their evolving conditions.

• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and best practices for lifelong wellness.

• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.

• Maintain accurate documentation to comply with all clinic policies, regulatory standards, and ensure continuity of care.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices, including participation in relevant continuing education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at BodySync PT, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New York.

• Graduation from an accredited program with either a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is required.

• Proficient in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, functional movement assessments, and evidence-based treatment practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in home care settings is highly desirable, as well as familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline patient documentation and care coordination. Candidates who have participated in advanced training, certifications, or workshops related to orthopedic rehabilitation will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
