Work Environment

As an on-site Physical Therapist in our rehabilitation center, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources designed to facilitate effective patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific recovery needs.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including hands-on techniques, exercise regimens, and modern rehabilitation equipment to enhance patient recovery.
• Modify and adapt treatment plans based on continuous assessment of patient progress, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments, patient responses to therapy, and progress, contributing to each patient's overall treatment history.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on rehabilitation techniques, exercises, and the use of assistive devices to encourage independent living.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in physical therapy by engaging in professional development opportunities, attending workshops, and reviewing relevant literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work closely with patients who may have different levels of mobility and varying rehabilitation needs, making it vital to adjust your approaches to suit each individual. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.

• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
