Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of patients, tailoring treatment plans to their individual circumstances.

• Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other involved parties to monitor and document patient progress.

• Organize and manage a tentative schedule for therapy sessions and follow-ups, ensuring consistency and reliability in the therapeutic relationship.

• Coordinate any necessary home visits for in-home observations, and facilitate chart reviews and staff interviews to bolster care delivery.

• Implement and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing insights and collaborating with colleagues to enhance client care.

• Complete detailed progress notes on a monthly and quarterly basis to track patient development and project outcomes.

• Organize and lead training sessions for team members to ensure effective implementation of program policies and documentation practices.

• Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits, reaffirming the commitment to clients and their evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will serve a diverse client base, including adults and youth facing a wide range of mental health challenges. You will utilize various therapeutic approaches, including individual therapy, family therapy, and sessions focusing on trauma recovery and substance misuse, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Nevada.

• Knowledge of and specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is strongly preferred.
