Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status through initial evaluations and ongoing therapy sessions.

• Create individualized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.

• Facilitate weekly therapy sessions, utilizing tailored therapeutic modalities, and providing clients with practical tools for coping and recovery.

• Engage in collaborative case management by referring clients to additional healthcare services, including psychiatrists and support groups.

• Document all client interactions in a timely manner within our EHR system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss case progress, share insights, and refine evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a counselor with River Valley Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, coupled with cultural competence.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
