Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to thoroughly understand client concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individualized therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring care is personalized to meet each client's unique needs.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support to clients in distress while ensuring their safety and stability.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and wellness coaches, to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted needs of our clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic medical records systems to streamline documentation processes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through regular training, workshops, and supervision to remain current with mental health best practices.

• Participate actively in program development initiatives, contributing ideas for improving services and enhancing client outcomes.

• Advocate for client needs and provide education on mental health resources and referrals to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. You will tailor your therapeutic approach to suit individuals, couples, and families, ensuring inclusivity and cultural competency in all interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
\n
• Strong commitment to cultural competence and providing inclusive, affirming care.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

• Proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, all full-time counselors receive a monthly healthcare stipend and free access to the platform’s services as active counselors.
