Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and evaluations, typically ranging from 10 to 20 minutes for general visits and longer for specific procedures, to ensure thorough understanding and management of skin conditions.
• Deliver compassionate care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, diagnosing and treating conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
• Stay abreast of advancements in dermatology by fulfilling continuing medical education (CME) requirements and pursuing regular professional development opportunities.
• Assist in various dermatological procedures including but not limited to biopsies, excisions, and the administration of cosmetic injectables, delivering a full spectrum of care to our patients.
• Perform administrative duties as required, which includes documentation updates, patient record maintenance, and collaborating with nursing and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Your role as a Physician Assistant will center on serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals seeking treatment for a variety of skin issues, ranging from common conditions to more complex dermatological concerns. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited physician assistant program, coupled with current PA-C certification that validates your clinical competence.
• A minimum of two years experience as a Physician Assistant in a medical office setting, ideally with specific experience in dermatology.
• Critical thinking skills to assess and manage complex dermatologic cases effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring clarity and ease in patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in cosmetic dermatology provides an advantage, especially with skills in aesthetic procedures such as laser therapy, fillers, and Botox. Familiarity with allied dermatology software or EHR systems would also be advantageous in enhancing clinic workflows.
