Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient health, taking vital signs and gathering medical histories both pre and post-procedure.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and stats in our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and pain management strategies, fostering a trusting and transparent environment.
• Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as outlined in the established treatment protocols, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work environment, adhering strictly to hospital regulations and protocols.
• Provide support in educating patients about post-treatment care and disease prevention methods, ensuring they are well-informed about their health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients suffering from a range of chronic pain conditions, including but not limited to, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and post-surgical pain. Understanding patient backgrounds and needs is essential for delivering tailored, effective care plans. Compassionate engagement with patients will help build rapport and enhance treatment adherence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred).
• Current and valid certification as a Physician Assistant (PA), with an active New York state license.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in pain management or a related healthcare field.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and build professional relationships with healthcare team members.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a pain management setting or outpatient clinical environment, with knowledge of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain management techniques.
• A background in orthopedic care or rehabilitation may also be advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and clinical workflows in a hospital setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
