Work Environment\n

This position is a remote role primarily based within the context of a school. Although working from home, the Social Worker will be actively engaged with the school community through virtual platforms and occasional in-person visits. Flexibility is essential to accommodate individual student needs and school schedules. Typically, your work hours will align with a standard school schedule, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with additional evening or weekend hours sometimes required for specific cases or events.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Clinical Social Worker at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will play a critical role in the school environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students to identify emotional, social, and behavioral issues.

• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized support plans tailored to each student's unique needs.

• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including school nurses, special education staff, and outside mental health agencies to enhance student support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on students ranging from kindergarten through high school, typically aged 5 to 18 years. This role requires sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, including socioeconomic status, cultural differences, and varying levels of support at home. You will be instrumental in providing interventions that promote mental wellness and foster inclusive educational practices.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A valid state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a clinical or school setting, with a focus on children or adolescents.
