Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite in patients' homes, providing you with the flexibility to work in diverse environments and build meaningful relationships with patients in their own settings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities, movement quality, and functional limitations.
• Design individualized treatment plans that incorporate hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities to enhance recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to alleviate pain, improve strength, and restore function, adapting techniques to the setting and patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, and home exercise programs to promote self-management.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolution and feedback.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed timely, adhering to clinical standards and ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient care focuses on various demographics, including elderly patients recovering from surgeries, individuals dealing with chronic pain or injuries, and those requiring rehabilitation after accidents or sports injuries. The therapist will treat conditions such as back and neck pain, joint pain from osteoarthritis, and balance and gait deficits, all of which require a nuanced understanding of individualized care strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience is required; however, those with extensive experience may be prioritized.
• Proficiency in contemporary physical therapy modalities and treatment methodologies is essential.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively tailor rehabilitation plans.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home health settings is an advantage.
