Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and functional abilities, establishing a baseline for treatment.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, tailored to each patient's unique needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize hands-on therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, including heat, ice, and electrical stimulation to foster pain relief and restore functionality.
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, posture alignment, and effective injury prevention strategies.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment interventions as necessary to ensure optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and results in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Current board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in a rehabilitation facility.
• Proficiency in implementing advanced physical therapy techniques and technologies.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively evaluate and address the varied rehabilitation needs of patients.
• Exceptional communication abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with five or more years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in using therapeutic modalities will also be advantageous.
