Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for students requiring mental health support, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment to evaluate their emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, involving measurable goals that highlight client progress.

• Facilitate therapy sessions focusing on individual, couples, and family dynamics, employing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches.

• Work closely with educators and school personnel to promote mental wellness, providing consultation and guidance on best practices to identify and assist at-risk students.

• Regularly document client interactions and treatment outcomes in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards in confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and peer supervision to remain updated with best practices, trends, and legal requirements in the field of clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clients will include students from various backgrounds within our partnered schools in Chicago. You will focus on addressing a range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders, aiming to support each student in thriving academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in the State of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least three years of relevant clinical experience, ideally within mental health or school environments.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a solid understanding of mental health legislation affecting school settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with children, families, and educational staff.
