Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations on patients to assess their pain management needs effectively.
• Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic tests to determine the best treatment plans for your patients.
• Provide both narcotic and non-narcotic medication management, adhering to established practice guidelines and ensuring patient safety.
• Interpret diagnostic results to inform treatment decisions and monitor patient progress.
• Assess patients' eligibility for interventional pain treatments, including but not limited to epidural steroid injections, trigger point injections, and spinal cord stimulators.
• Administer procedures such as trigger point injections, Botox/Dysport injections, and greater occipital nerve blocks, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Offer education and support to patients about their conditions and treatment options, fostering a partnership in their healthcare journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on managing pain for adults experiencing chronic pain conditions, including those resulting from surgical procedures, injuries, or underlying medical conditions. You'll work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and improving daily function.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school of nursing.
• An active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
• Specialization or experience in geriatrics is preferred, as many of our patients may belong to this demographic.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in pain management, critical care, family practice, or a similar healthcare setting is strongly encouraged.
• Experience with telemedicine platforms and protocols can be beneficial, as we strive to provide adaptable care solutions.

Compensation and Benefits
