Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify client needs, utilizing standardized tools and frameworks. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, drawing on best practices in therapy. Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), while monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary. Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards. Work closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and contribute to client welfare. Participate in regular case consultations to share insights, discuss challenges, and uphold high standards of care. Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their journeys. Stay current with advancements in the mental health field to continually enhance your skills and client support. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients at Peace-Filled Mind Therapeutic Clinic come from a broad demographic background, presenting challenges including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our work is deeply rooted in understanding each individual's story and tailoring our approach to meet their specific needs. We believe that fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship is essential to promoting healing and positive change. Qualifications A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas. Demonstrated understanding of solution-based psychotherapy techniques and an ability to adapt approaches based on client needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients. Ability to think critically and solve complex problems in a therapeutic context. Preferred Experience Previous experience in a community health setting providing therapy to diverse populations. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. Engagement in professional development activities such as workshops or advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
