Work Environment

This role is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Woodbridge, NJ. You will work in an onsite setting that promotes collaboration among a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment programs aimed at improving physical function and alleviating pain.
• Engage in hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to enhance patient recovery and promote optimal health.
• Utilize advanced documentation systems to track patient progress, outcomes, and adherence to treatment plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport with patients, actively listening to their concerns, and adjusting care as needed to meet their unique circumstances.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, sharing insights and strategies during team meetings to refine treatment approaches.
• Consult with, educate, and train patients and their caregivers about therapy procedures, exercises, and injury prevention strategies, fostering independence and confidence.
• Achieve operational goals, including patient utilization metrics, while contributing to the overall success and cohesiveness of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurologic recovery, and sports medicine treatment. Each case presents unique challenges, allowing you to apply your expertise and creativity in therapeutic techniques. Your role will be pivotal in guiding patients through various phases of recovery, helping them regain mobility and return to their desired activities.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) in New Jersey, granted by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic, pediatric, or sports medicine therapy.
• Valid CPR certification to ensure emergency preparedness.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with a background in clinical education or mentorship, as you may have opportunities to guide and train less experienced team members. Experience with specific treatment modalities or technologies that enhance patient recovery processes is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
