Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center in Edison, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions by conducting thorough assessments and determining the best course of treatment based on physicians' referrals.
• Create individualized treatment plans that encompass therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and educational interventions to promote recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to deliver specialized care to patients across various demographics, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Engage in ongoing communication with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment effectiveness and address any concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, meeting clinical and operational standards set by the organization.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal results and adherence to goals.
• Conduct patient education sessions to empower individuals and their families with knowledge about health management and therapeutic practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and achieve the best possible healthcare outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will encounter a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to elderly clients. Your expertise will be utilized to assess and treat individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, managing chronic pain, or engaged in sports rehabilitation. Your role is critical in helping patients regain their mobility and quality of life while fostering a positive recovery environment.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy, enabling you to practice in New Jersey.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrable through interactions with patients and team members.
• Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to establishing rapport and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients, ensuring they feel supported throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive patient care plan.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate may have experience in specialized areas such as sports medicine, pediatrics, or neurology, which can enhance service delivery within our diverse practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer an attractive benefits package including:
