Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing our clinicians to provide Telehealth services to clients across various locations. You will engage in video consultations, therapy sessions, and assessments through secure health information technology platforms. This work setting promotes flexibility while ensuring that you can deliver high-quality care, often using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to understand patients' individual experiences and needs. This includes evaluating their mental health histories and current challenges to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Narrative Therapy, tailored to fit the individual and cultural backgrounds of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address a wide variety of mental health concerns, focusing on promoting resilience and mental well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure that each patient receives integrated and comprehensive care, sharing insights and treatment strategies.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring timely access to care.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, their treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their journey toward recovery.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and patient progress in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance your skills and contribute positively to team dynamics.

• Continuously update your knowledge of current research, best practices, and relevant cultural considerations in the field of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population is richly diverse, consisting of individuals from various cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. You will be working with clients facing unique challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that all clients feel understood and supported in a manner that honors their cultural identities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders, culturally responsive therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based practices.

• Experience providing individual therapy and group counseling, specifically employing inclusive methodologies that resonate with diverse populations.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, along with the poise to manage challenging clinical situations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for patient management.

• A strong commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
