Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) sessions for individuals, families, and groups, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations by assessing the urgency of client needs, providing immediate care, and ensuring access to the necessary services.
\n
• Utilize various therapeutic treatment models including behavior modification, cognitive behavioral therapy, and brief intervention strategies during counseling sessions.
\n
• Supervise and provide guidance to Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Develop collaborative treatment plans by working with interdisciplinary professionals within the community, promoting a holistic approach to client care.
\n
• Provide training and educational sessions on clinical topics to enhance team competency and community knowledge regarding mental health issues.
\n
• Assess initial client treatment needs and develop comprehensive diagnoses in accordance with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM V) standards.

• Facilitate intake sessions and perform Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to gain a complete understanding of each client's situation.
\n
• Create and implement treatment plans based on best practice standards and individual diagnosis, ensuring alignment with ongoing therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly support clients facing varied mental health challenges, including mothers navigating the complexities of parenting and individuals from marginalized communities experiencing unique socioeconomic barriers. Your expertise will empower these clients to achieve better mental health outcomes and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is mandatory.

• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and skilled in using Windows applications for documentation and administrative tasks.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in electronic mail correspondence.
\n
• Ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining a compassionate and client-centered approach to care.

• Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance dependency disorders is highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
