Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the unique needs of children and families.

• Develop, implement, and actively participate in Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring personalized care and intervention strategies are established.
\n
• Monitor and document progress of children towards developmental milestones, adjusting interventions as needed to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Actively engage with families, providing tailored support and education to empower them in their child’s developmental journey.
\n
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and medical professionals, to coordinate care and share insights.
\n
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations overseeing early intervention services, maintaining compliance across all practices.
\n
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with children and families, creating a welcoming environment that encourages learning and growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Principles in designing individualized treatment strategies.
\n
• Champion coaching models and natural environment teaching approaches to enhance family involvement in their child's development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with infants and toddlers who exhibit developmental delays or disabilities. Your work will involve direct interaction with families to provide support and education, equipping them with skills and resources needed for effective early intervention. This client-focused approach is aimed at fostering healthy developmental trajectories that can lead to improved long-term outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid LCSW license issued by the Department of Public Health is necessary to practice in California.

• A valid driver’s license is required for occasional travel to client locations if needed.
\n
• A minimum of one year of experience in early intervention with children is essential.
\n
• Commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of child development.

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are vital for success.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
