The Insightful Mind Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Babylon, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices suited to each patient's unique needs.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, constantly monitoring their efficacy and making dosage adjustments when necessary.
• Provide psychotherapy services using various modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with other mental health practitioners to ensure cohesive care and provide holistic treatment to patients.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, mental health conditions, and effective self-care strategies.
• Maintain continuous documentation of patient progress, including treatment response and adjustments needed in care plans.
• Engage in regular follow-up appointments to review treatment effectiveness and to address patient concerns.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision for professional development and improved patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards, upholding patient confidentiality and maintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR).

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and other psychiatric conditions. Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Nursing, with specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in psychiatric and mental health care environments.
• Extensive knowledge of psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment modalities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a concierge medicine or house calls setting.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques beyond CBT and DBT.
• Proven track record in improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 200,000 to 250,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
