Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass a range of client-focused activities, including:

• Conducting group therapy sessions where you will facilitate engaging discussions among clients, enabling them to share experiences and foster communal healing.

• Providing individual therapy, allowing deeper exploration of clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while collaboratively developing coping strategies and actionable plans tailored to their needs.

• Creating individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and collaboration with clients, ensuring goal-oriented pathways toward recovery.

• Monitoring client progress through regular assessments and feedback, utilizing various tools to measure effectiveness and adapt techniques as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse group of clients aged 18 to 30, many of whom are navigating the complexities of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. Your role will involve not just treating these challenges but also inspiring hope and empowering clients to achieve meaningful recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates who have previously worked in outpatient settings or have experience with young adults are particularly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with treatment planning software and assessment tools is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
