This full-time role is designed to be fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a cohesive team. Although the role is remote, you will remain actively engaged with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising healthcare professionals from various backgrounds. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions to support patient needs, employing evidence-based practices, and adapting your approach as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.

• Collaborating with nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient well-being and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adult clients facing various mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your therapeutic modalities will range from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to solution-focused approaches, tailored to meet each individual's unique needs. By focusing on trauma-informed care, you will ensure that each client is treated with dignity and respect, with methods designed to build resilience and foster healing.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted license in mental health counseling, such as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, as issued by the relevant state board. Please note that limited or provisional licenses are not acceptable.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting providing mental health services, focusing on direct patient care.

• Strong ability to assess and evaluate patient needs, making informed decisions based on clinical expertise.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a steadfast commitment to providing empathetic, client-centered care.

• Proficient digital literacy skills, particularly with electronic health record systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience in a community health setting and familiarity with multidisciplinary team collaboration will be viewed favorably. Additional certifications in specific therapeutic techniques or trauma-informed care will enhance your application.
