Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans based on best clinical practices. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and trauma-informed care approaches. Establish therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, diligently monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Engage clients through teletherapy platforms, ensuring continuity of care for those facing accessibility challenges or geographical constraints. Implement documentation and progress tracking, adhering to ethical standards to maintain the highest level of professionalism and compliance. Participate in continual professional development activities, including training, workshops, and supervision meetings, to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on current trends in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus The counselors at Rising Ground serve a diverse population, addressing various mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Demonstrated mastery in communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. An empathetic, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach to therapy, allowing for a safe client experience. Strong organizational abilities with adept time-management skills to handle caseloads effectively. Preferred Experience Experience in teletherapy, either through established platforms or independently, is highly valued. Knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention strategies are advantageous. A background in providing therapy within community health settings or non-profit organizations is preferred, emphasizing compassion and understanding of diverse client needs. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, determined by your caseload and experience.
