Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnose underlying movement dysfunctions and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery goals.
• Educate and guide patients on the proper application of therapeutic exercises and equipment utilization.
• Provide hands-on treatment, including massage and stimulation, to promote healing and recovery.
• Assist patients with mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring safety and independence during rehabilitation.
• Maintain meticulous patient records, documenting treatment progress and setting achievable goals.
• Advise patients and their families about in-home treatment options and exercises to support ongoing rehabilitation efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a wide range of patients, from children to seniors, encompassing various diagnoses including orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have the compassion and ability to adapt treatments to meet the unique needs of each individual, fostering a supportive recovery environment.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility in adapting treatment methods to fit diverse patient needs and situations.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated expertise in treating a varied patient population or specific therapeutic techniques.
• Prior mentorship or leadership experience is a plus, especially for those interested in supporting new graduates.

Compensation and Benefits
