Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ psychosocial needs, identifying appropriate treatment plans and referrals that address mental, emotional, and physical health.

• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention, utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient coping strategies and emotional resilience.

• Assist patients in navigating entitlement forms, supplemental insurance, and other benefits to reduce reliance on emergency services and promote stable mental health.

• Connect patients with prescription assistance programs through pharmaceutical companies and local community resources, ensuring they have access to necessary medications.
\n
• Act as a patient advocate, fostering relationships with community agencies to strengthen support systems for those in need.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while preparing reports and documentation as required by organizational policies.

• Coordinate logistical support, including transportation assistance for patients needing reliable access to their appointments.
\n
• Participate in clinical and team meetings to discuss cases and collaboratively develop effective treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse range of patients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. By understanding the unique challenges that each patient encounters, you will work to develop tailored therapeutic interventions that promote healing and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.

• Active and independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two (2) years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting, showcasing your expertise in patient assessment, therapeutic techniques, and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience working in outpatient mental health services, familiarity with relevant software for documenting patient interactions, and exposure to crisis intervention methodologies will be strongly preferred.
