Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a strong professional connection with colleagues and clients through telehealth platforms. While the primary work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs and challenges of each patient, ensuring the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, through individual and group sessions.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational and support groups that provide patients with tools to address common mental health issues and foster a supportive community atmosphere.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated and holistic care that addresses all facets of a patient's mental health.

• Provide timely crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, offering stability and support to those in distress.

• Educate patients regarding mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources that can facilitate recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation compliant with legal and ethical regulations, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse array of clients experiencing various mental health issues, ranging from adolescents to adults. Our client-centered approach emphasizes understanding the cultural and contextual factors influencing each patient's mental health experience, ensuring that interventions are relevant and respectful of individual backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut.

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a wide variety of populations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate with team members effectively.

• Knowledge of ethical practice and sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficient in EHR systems and comfortable with technology for remote therapy delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
