Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to identify support needs.
\n
• Deliver individual and family therapy tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each patient, focusing on building resilience and coping strategies.

• Complete all necessary billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms accurately and within established time frames.
\n
• Develop individualized crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to help patients maintain stability throughout their treatment process.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans that empower patients with resources and support systems for their recovery journey.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state laws, regulatory standards, and NEHS policies and procedures to maintain high-quality care.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and clinical education to enhance your skills and efficacy as a counselor.

• Participate in case consultation meetings and team discussions to share insights and best practices for patient care.
\n
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training to uphold the highest standards of mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a myriad of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (either LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

While specific experience working in outpatient settings is valued, we particularly welcome candidates who have demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and family dynamics. Fluency in additional languages or experience with special populations is a plus.
