Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, identifying needs and preferences for tailored therapy.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques that best support the patient's personalized treatment plan.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in compliance with specified timelines.
\n
• Develop crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to facilitate ongoing patient stability and support.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that identify continued support structures and resources for patients transitioning out of therapy.
\n
• Adhere to all relevant federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and Emory Health & Rehabilitation Center's established policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance skills and maintain licensure.
\n
• Take part in case consultations and agency meetings to contribute insights and learn from peers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Complete all required licensure and mandatory training in adherence to state regulations.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals and families grappling with various mental health challenges. Your role will involve addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex situations requiring multifaceted therapeutic strategies. Emphasizing a strength-based approach, you will empower clients to achieve their therapeutic goals while fostering a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies you for licensure.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, specifically as an LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the State of Illinois.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, prior experience working in outpatient settings or with similar client populations will be advantageous. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a demonstrated ability to create client-centered treatment plans will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
