Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health statuses, using standardized diagnostic tools and interviews to inform treatment decisions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at A Step Ahead Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your role is critical in understanding the individual backgrounds of clients and addressing their unique issues with empathy and professionalism, thereby contributing to their overall mental well-being and recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic models, and a commitment to cultural competence in treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
