Work Environment\n

This role allows for a remote work setting, providing you with the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or a designated workspace. While our regular work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, some evening shifts may be required to meet patient needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will engage with colleagues across various specialties to deliver cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the specific needs and goals of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that outline objectives and specify evidence-based interventions.

• Deliver individual counseling sessions utilizing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to foster engagement and motivation in recovery.

• Facilitate interactive group therapy sessions aimed at providing peer support and shared experiences during recovery.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and addiction specialists to ensure patients receive holistic, coordinated care while addressing their mental health and substance use needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute substance-related crises or emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery pathways, and available community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring all patient interactions are accurately recorded.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuous education to promote professional development and client care quality.

• Stay abreast of current research, treatment methodologies, and emerging best practices in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves individuals struggling with substance use disorders, encompassing a diverse client population. You will engage with patients from varying backgrounds and life experiences, fostering a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to treatment that emphasizes personal growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Proven expertise in substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy specifically related to addiction treatment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with patients and families.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards required in mental health practice.

• Competence in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for documentation and patient management.

• Proven ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience working with individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges.

• Experience in a community health clinic setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
