Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and intake interviews with new clients to evaluate mental health needs and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and the unique therapeutic needs of clients.

• Provide regular counseling and therapy sessions via telehealth, using appropriate therapeutic modalities to address diverse mental health issues.

• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team to design and refine comprehensive mental health services that contribute to client well-being.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing emergency counseling to assess and stabilize clients experiencing acute emotional distress.

• Facilitate communication and coordination with clients' families and support systems regarding treatment progress and discharge plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Futuristic Wellness Sanctuary, you will work primarily with an adult population presenting a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is crucial in providing support to underserved communities, ensuring equitable access to mental health resources through telehealth channels. You will actively contribute to lessening the stigma associated with seeking help and provide resources to empower clients in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent, demonstrating your qualifications to practice as a mental health professional.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, showcasing your ability to handle diverse client needs.

• Proficient computer skills, including effective use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems, telehealth platforms, and basic software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage a caseload independently while remaining self-directed and responsive to client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum requirement is a Master’s degree and relevant licensure, additional certifications in trauma-informed care or specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) are preferred. Experience with telehealth platforms and online client engagement strategies will also enhance your effectiveness in this role.
