This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to set your own schedule and create a convenient work-life balance. You will conduct all counseling sessions via video chat using our secure online therapy platform, which not only simplifies administrative tasks but also offers functionalities for messaging clients outside of scheduled appointments. Our IT team is always on hand to assist you with any technical needs, ensuring you can focus on client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual counseling sessions through video conferencing, aiming to enhance clients' mental health and well-being.

• Guide clients in articulating their thoughts and emotions to foster self-awareness and improve interpersonal relationships.

• Act as an advocate for clients, helping them define realistic and achievable goals tailored to their specific needs.

• Assess clients’ mental health conditions, devising and implementing treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and a solution-focused approach.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with all confidentiality and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with stable adult clients who are thoughtfully screened to ensure they are suited for telehealth counseling. Our clientele typically presents low acuity issues, making it an ideal environment for practicing focused and insightful therapy without the complexities associated with severe mental health cases. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Must hold a full and active license to practice independently within the state of Massachusetts, such as:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)

• No limited or provisional licenses; candidates must be in good standing with oversight bodies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client relationships are essential for success.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a teletherapy environment is preferred but not required.

• Prior experience in individual counseling with an adult population

• Working knowledge of treatment modalities suitable for low acuity mental health issues.
