Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Leading engaging group therapy sessions where clients can connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. Your role will be to create a safe environment conducive to open dialogue and personal growth.

• Individual Therapy: Providing tailored, empathetic individual counseling sessions that guide clients through their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborating with clients to formulate individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their specific needs and preferences.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilizing various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track client progress and outcomes, ensuring they are on the right path to recovery.

• Team Collaboration: Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, communicate effectively about client progress, and consult on complex cases, fostering a comprehensive approach to treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are seeking treatment for various mental health challenges. Our outpatient treatment center specializes in offering holistic and evidence-based programs through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often experiences unique challenges, and your role will be crucial in empowering them to overcome obstacles and achieve lasting recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
