Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at WPS Behavioral and Counseling Center, you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead and engage clients in group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for sharing experiences and fostering mutual support.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized therapy sessions where you will delve into clients’ thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while collaboratively developing coping strategies and action plans tailored to individual needs.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring they are aligned with their unique requirements and aspirations.

• Monitoring Progress: Track client progress and outcomes through various assessments and feedback methodologies, utilizing our state-of-the-art evaluation tools to ensure effective treatment and support.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to coordinate care, address complex cases, and share insights for holistic treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces a myriad of issues ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma, to life transitions. By applying evidence-based and holistic treatment methodologies, you will help them navigate their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is essential.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois is required.

• Strong understanding of mental health assessment and treatment planning processes.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining empathetic client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
