Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality virtual psychotherapy sessions to clients, ensuring a minimum caseload of 25 clients each week.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their individual goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy to deliver effective counseling.

• Maintain detailed and confidential records of each client’s progress in our electronic health record (EHR) system, in alignment with state and federal regulations.
\n
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients and their families, including participation in treatment meetings and case discussions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of new therapeutic techniques and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center on adults aged 18 and older within a hospice care environment, focusing on individuals facing serious and life-limiting illnesses. You may also engage with their families, helping them navigate the challenges associated with grief, loss, and emotional distress. The role is particularly suited for individuals who are willing to meet the specialized needs of diverse populations, including those from the LGBTQIA+ community and various cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• An active LCSW license to practice in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a proven track record in providing psychotherapy.

• Experience working with CBT and/or Psychodynamic Therapy methods.
\n
• Strong understanding of the mental health challenges faced by diverse populations, including minority groups.

• Professional malpractice insurance is required to ensure client safety and compliance.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community is highly valued, as well as familiarity with men's mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 104,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
