Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their unique mental health challenges and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both in person and via teletherapy, ensuring access for clients with mobility challenges or those preferring virtual interactions.

• Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients, track their progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary, using tools such as case management software to maintain clear and organized communication.

• Maintain thorough, accurate records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans to meet ethical standards and support continuity of care.

• Engage in regular staff meetings, supervision sessions, and collaborative discussions with your clinical supervisor to enhance your skills and ensure quality care and ethical practice.

• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay updated on innovative therapeutic techniques and advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will include a diverse range of clients, including couples, families, and individuals from various backgrounds, with a commitment to serving clients of color and members of the LGBTQIA community. You will implement culturally competent practices that respect and affirm diverse identities and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• A current, valid state-issued LMFT license.
\n
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience in a clinical setting.
\n
• Experience working with a diverse clientele, with a focus on children, teens, couples, or families, is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent care to diverse populations, particularly clients of color and LGBTQIA individuals.

• Experience in using teletherapy platforms and tools effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions.
