Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to offer counseling services from your preferred location. Our telehealth facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate seamless and effective patient interactions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists, all while providing support and guidance to our patients. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to grasp the complexity of each patient’s situation, and develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions through modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate supportive psychoeducational and therapy groups that foster community and collective healing.
\n
• Engage in collaborative efforts with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and well-coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, equipping patients with immediate support and coping strategies.
\n
• Educate patients about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources while ensuring they feel empowered by their treatment.

• Maintain superior documentation practices that meet legal and ethical standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to enhance your clinical skills.

• Stay informed about advancements in the field of mental health therapy to offer the highest quality care to patients.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; however, a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders along with evidence-based therapeutic approaches is essential.

• Proven competencies in conducting comprehensive assessments and creating effective, individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy to diverse patient populations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• High ethical standards and good judgment in professional boundaries and confidentiality practices.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will bring experience in teletherapy and familiarity with digital health solutions, as well as training or certification in specialized therapeutic modalities. Previous involvement in crisis intervention and community resource connection is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
