Work Environment

This position is tailored for a professional who thrives in a hands-on, onsite environment, where the therapeutic journey takes place directly within the patient's home. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients referred by their physician to address specific rehabilitation needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide and document effective therapeutic services tailored to each patient's condition, functional ability, and goals.
• Deliver care and therapy in patients' homes, employing techniques and procedures that align with physicians' prescribed plans of care.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to patients and caregivers, ensuring a supportive and positive healthcare experience.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists and medical providers, to maximize patient recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for health management and recovery, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Meet key performance indicators for patient satisfaction and utilization rates, contributing to the clinic's overall effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related injuries. This variety enables you to apply your expertise across different specialties, adapting your approach to cater to each individual's unique recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license to practice in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, with a track record of patient outcomes.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications to document patient care and treatment plans.
• Passion for establishing meaningful relationships with patients and fostering their success in rehab.
• Dedication to community involvement and maintaining local connections that enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home healthcare settings, particularly with the elderly or those with mobility challenges.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and professional development support.
