Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions tailored to meet the specific needs of each client, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage shared experiences and foster healing among participants, providing a safe space for discussion.

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments to understand clients' mental health statuses, crafting personalized treatment plans based on findings.

• Regularly meet with clients to evaluate their progress, adjust therapy approaches as needed, and provide ongoing support to ensure effective outcomes.

• Engage in proactive outreach and referral activities within the community to expand access to mental health services, particularly in underrepresented populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Brightpath, you will work with a wide range of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your caseload will consist of diverse backgrounds and mental health challenges, from couples navigating relationship issues to families dealing with complex dynamics. This role allows you to make a significant impact by offering culturally competent and empathetic therapy tailored to the unique experiences of each individual.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in providing diagnostic assessments and therapeutic services, demonstrating a strong clinical foundation.
• Proven ability to establish rapport with clients quickly and effectively, showcasing self-motivation and independence.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, essential for navigating sensitive client interactions and managing caseloads.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a diverse range of age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults, across various mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with couples and family counseling techniques, enhancing the capacity to navigate relational dynamics.
• Previous exposure to community outreach initiatives, ideally in a clinical or therapeutic context.

Compensation and Benefits

Brightpath offers a competitive compensation package for this position, with a salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually. In addition to competitive pay, we provide:
