This full-time role, shaped for a remote workspace, allows you to provide essential therapeutic services while contributing to the holistic well-being of children and adolescents in Plano, Texas.

Work Environment\n

The position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our team and clients. Our work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate our client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the developmental and emotional needs of children and adolescents.

• Craft and implement individualized treatment plans that consider the unique circumstances of each young patient, including family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address mental health issues, including providing family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to foster nurturing environments.

• Work in close collaboration with child psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for children and adolescents facing mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support is available.

• Educate young clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment plans, and community resources, helping them navigate their journeys with clarity.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards for record-keeping.

• Engage actively in team meetings, participate in case consultations, and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is focused on supporting children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. The client population spans from young children exhibiting behavioral disorders to teenagers struggling with anxiety and depression. Your expertise will play a crucial role in forming therapeutic relationships with patients, establishing trust, and delivering impactful care that leads to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles governing child and adolescent mental health disorders, combined with familiarity in evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic approaches.

• Experience providing both individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, showcasing your ability to engage effectively with different age groups.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a nurturing, child-centered approach.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with specialized training in child and adolescent therapy or additional certifications in therapeutic modalities will be highly regarded. Experience in crisis intervention settings will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
