Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Engage in one-on-one and couple/family therapy sessions both virtually and, at times, in person.
\n
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and progress reviews tailored to each family member's needs.
\n
• Address complex issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, psychological distress, grief and loss, and familial conflicts.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions for blended families, separation, and divorce adjustments.
\n
• Implement effective communication strategies to help clients resolve conflicts and improve relationships.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to achieve positive client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on couples, children, adolescents, and families experiencing a variety of challenges. You will work closely with clients grappling with issues ranging from emotional and psychological challenges to complex family dynamics, including those arising from blended families, job stress, and medical conditions. Every session aims to enhance the emotional, mental, and relational health of clients in a supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• An active LMFT license in the state of Illinois.
\n
