Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of infants and toddlers to identify their specific developmental needs and potential delays.

• Actively participating in the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) to cater to each child’s unique requirements.

• Collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary team members to assure effective support and intervention strategies are in place.

• Providing tailored support to families, including guidance and strategies that promote optimal child development.

• Maintaining compliance with Federal and State regulations regarding early intervention services, ensuring that our practices uphold the highest standards.

• Promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters strong relationships with children and families through trust, understanding, and open communication.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices and principles of Natural Learning Environments to design appropriate treatment strategies.

• Offering coaching and support to families to empower them in their parenting journey, enhancing their ability to facilitate their child’s development at home.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily targets infants and toddlers who face developmental challenges or disabilities, along with their families. Your approach will be family-centered, focusing on guidance and interventions that build parental skills and advocate for the child’s needs within educational settings.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work, with a strong foundation in child development theories and practices.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.
\n
• A valid driver’s license to facilitate travel, as needed, for assessments or collaboration with families.

• A minimum of one year of experience specifically focused on early intervention services related to children with disabilities.

• A commitment to the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices, demonstrating a proactive approach in applying these methods in intervention strategies.

Preferred Experience\n
