Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though some flexibility may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments, focusing on patients' trauma histories to provide tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and building resilience in patients.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide patients through their healing journey.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to articulate their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure holistic, integrated patient care that addresses all facets of their recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize and reassure patients.
\n
• Educate patients and families about trauma reactions, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our work primarily focuses on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. Many of our patients present with complex psychological conditions, including PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As part of your role, you will be instrumental in building a therapeutic relationship that fosters trust and facilitates healing, assisting them in navigating their recovery process effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, showcasing your commitment to this specialized field.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies that align with our clinic’s philosophy.

• Able to remain composed in high-stress situations, providing calm support for anxious patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
