Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the unique histories and needs of each patient, guiding the therapeutic process effectively.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, tailoring interventions to fit individual patient needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in therapeutic sessions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process trauma experiences and develop healthy coping strategies.

• Coordinate interdisciplinary care by collaborating with psychiatrists and mental health professionals to provide comprehensive support for patients.

• Ensure timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping mechanisms, enhancing their understanding and management of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exemplary interpersonal skills with a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach towards patients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and essential computing skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering annual compensation between $90,000 and $110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
