Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gather comprehensive information about clients’ mental health history and current concerns, enabling you to formulate accurate clinical diagnoses.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they align with each client's unique goals and circumstances.

• Provide diverse therapeutic modalities, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy, employing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.

• Offer timely crisis intervention to clients facing acute mental health challenges, equipping them with coping strategies and support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, tracking progress and treatment efficacy through thorough documentation.

• Engage in an interdisciplinary approach by collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive holistic care tailored to their needs.

• Advocate for clients by providing education on mental health topics, treatment options, and linking them to community resources that may benefit their recovery process.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will encompass a diverse array of individuals experiencing various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma-related conditions. Special attention will be placed on inclusivity, understanding that our clients come from various backgrounds and life experiences. This role is foundational in providing culturally competent therapy that addresses the specific needs of our community.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) in Massachusetts.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• Possess strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills necessary for evaluating client needs.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
