Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with clients through consistent and empathetic communication during virtual sessions.
• Diagnose a variety of mental health disorders and create tailored treatment plans that align with the specific needs of the individual or family.
• Conduct regular counseling sessions with patients, offering support and guidance while adapting treatment plans as necessary based on their progress.
• Perform ongoing assessments to track patient progress and modify therapeutic interventions as needed to improve outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to patients in distress, utilizing effective assessment practices to identify immediate needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. You will also support couples and families navigating relational and emotional issues, ensuring holistic and integrated care aligned with each patient's circumstances. We prioritize inclusivity and cultural competency in our treatment approach, valuing the unique experiences and backgrounds of all clients.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling is required.
• A valid LICSW license is mandatory to practice in Washington State.
• Minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is essential.
• Proficient computer skills are necessary, including familiarity with electronic medical record systems, email communication, and telehealth platforms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience with telehealth services and a strong understanding of digital tools used in remote counseling.
• Experience in developing community outreach programs or workshops to promote mental health awareness.
• Background in crisis intervention and familiarity with therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits
