You will control the complete lifecycle of new school sites—from initial acquisition through full operational readiness—while establishing the systems that make every subsequent launch faster, more efficient, and more reliable. This is not a conventional development position. You are not joining to simply oversee projects. You are joining to remove obstacles from the expansion process. That requires making critical decisions on site suitability, intervening directly in permitting and construction challenges, managing vendor negotiations, and maintaining aggressive timelines. Concurrently, you will decompose every component of this workflow into structured, AI-enabled processes that minimize manual intervention and enhance forecasting precision with each iteration. Basic Requirements Confirmed experience leading a minimum of one real estate development or construction project from site identification through operational launch with complete ownership Background managing multiple simultaneous construction or capital projects with direct accountability for schedules, coordination, and problem resolution Deep working knowledge of zoning regulations, permitting procedures, construction processes, and vendor management, with capability to interface directly with general contractors, architects, and regulatory authorities Proven capacity to make informed tradeoff decisions balancing cost, schedule, and feasibility with clear, quantifiable results Experience refining or designing complex operational processes (e.g., permitting workflows, design coordination, construction delivery) Proven ability to deconstruct complex processes into structured, repeatable frameworks and refine them iteratively Track record of deploying tools (AI-based or other) to eliminate manual tasks, speed up decision cycles, or enhance execution velocity Strong ownership orientation with capacity to function effectively in uncertain environments and produce tangible outcomes Willingness and capacity to travel up to 60% to active construction sites nationwide and be present during pivotal development and opening phases Currently based in the US and authorized to work without requiring visa sponsorship Nice-to-have Requirements Experience scaling multi-location development or expansion initiatives Demonstrated success in enhancing forecast reliability and shortening project delivery cycles About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
