One Health Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist. Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a remote work setting, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal ones. Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, although some flexibility in scheduling will be necessary to best accommodate our patients' needs. You will be part of a collaborative, inclusive team that emphasizes ongoing training and cultural competency.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct timely, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that delve deep into patients' unique life experiences, and use these insights to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring approaches are inclusive and culturally responsive.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other medical professionals to create a well-rounded treatment approach for each patient.

• Provide effective crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating stability and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Offer educational resources to patients and their families to promote understanding of mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Engage actively in case conferences and team meetings to refine treatment strategies and share insights with fellow professionals.

• Stay current with best practices in mental health therapy, incorporating relevant research and cultural considerations into your approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice focuses on providing comprehensive mental health services to a variety of groups, including those representing different cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and immigrant statuses. By understanding the specific needs of these underserved populations, you will make a significant impact on their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, supported by cultural competency.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapeutic sessions that prioritize inclusivity and responsiveness to diverse client needs.
\n
• Effective crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities to connect and build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as other relevant technology applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in diverse community settings, particularly with ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
