Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide personalized counseling and therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, ensuring thorough documentation and consistent updates in accordance with compliance regulations.
• Maintain an organized caseload of clients, facilitating ongoing communication regarding their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as required.
• Participate actively in collaborative multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights and strategies for integrated patient care.
• Engage in reflective practices and staff training sessions to continually enhance clinical skills and team dynamics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse population including adults, teens, and families experiencing various mental health disorders and substance use issues. Our clients come from a myriad of backgrounds, requiring you to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet their unique cultural, social, and emotional needs. You will play a crucial role in their recovery journey by providing support, guidance, and therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling or mental health setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build meaningful therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

While two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with additional training or certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or Trauma-Informed Care) will certainly stand out. Experience working in a virtual setting or with teletherapy tools is advantageous, as is familiarity with regulatory compliance within outpatient care.

Compensation and Benefits
