Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments, gathering crucial information about clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy rooted in evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to the unique needs of students.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that include measurable goals and tailored interventions.

• Lead crisis interventions, risk assessments, and safety planning, ensuring immediate support is available when needed.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards to ensure high-quality care.

• Facilitate psychoeducation classes, support groups, and group therapy sessions to promote mental wellness and resilience.

• Collaborate closely with educational staff, parents, and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on students within school settings, encompassing children and adolescents dealing with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Valid and active LCSW licensure in the state of Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n
